Someone blasted my restaurant for not having “staples.”
They were the people who ordered “Coke or Pepsi—don’t matter” and “white Zin.”
We don’t have those things. We have a plethora of teas and coffees and 130 different bottles of wine and around 40 beers. If you think coke and white Zin are staples, we’re not the restaurant for you. Sorry to disappoint, but it’s just not what we do here. I wish there were a local cola maker. I wish I could make my own cola. I wish there were a white Zin I wasn’t embarrassed to serve. We haven’t gotten that far yet, though.
