The first time I had to “let someone go” my boss told me it would get easier. It never has. It still bothers me for months. Actually, it’s not something I ever get over completely. I think it’s the worst thing about managing of any kind. Just thought I’d share that.

I get alerts when someone says “Darjeeling” on the Internet because my restaurant is called “Darjeeling Café.” this appeared in my inbox, and it swept me away a bit. I so wish I could wake up at Clove Hall with a cup of Darjeeling waiting for me.
